RedHat 9.0 ISO’s available via BitTorrent

RedHat 9.0 iso’s were released today to RedHat Network members. They will be on the usual mirrors in a week, but you can get it now via BitTorrent You can also get Mandrake 9.1 iso’s from BitTorrent if you have not downloaded yours yet.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in Memory Stick and SD

OQO Release Date Slips Again

While it made a big splash when it was first announced in April of last year, the OQO made Wired’s Vaporware 2002 list. Recently, it looked like this product might soon see the light of day. However, the company is now saying the device won’t be available for perhaps six more months.

Fujitsu Creates Learning Robots

Fujitsu Laboratories has created a learning system for humanoid robots that uses a dynamically reconfigurable neural network. This enables the robots to learn movement and motor co-ordination in ways similar to the ways that an organic brain does. Could this be a major step in producing truly viable “androids,” or mobile humanoid robots?
